SLAVERY OF MEN BY WOMEN

SLAVERY OF MEN BY WOMEN

German writer Esther Villar In her book “The Manipulated Man” that caused outrage and hostile criticism from women explains how women since the earliest times have manipulated men and turned them into their slaves, they have pretended to be the oppressed sex while in the real sense they are the oppressors. She explains how a woman manipulates a man skillfully by steps like courtship and finally marriage, hence the saying “a man chases a woman until SHE catches him”.

In her book she explains how the man is tricked to care for the woman all his life and her offspring. He rolls the stone like Sisyphus and in turn gets rewarded by a few minutes of sexual pleasure. We can, by observing Esther Villars assertions that a man is a slave of his desires and the woman uses and has used it for thousands of years as a stick and carrot to keep the man chasing vanity and commit his life to serving her.

She goes ahead to explain the rivalry of women, how each woman feels the powerful urge and need to own a male for herself. Like a slave owner she detests any move the man would make to offer his services to another woman. She uses all means to keep the man to herself and her offspring alone.

Esther Villar’s sentiments are captured by Nigerian Poet, critic and writer, Chinweizu Ibekwe in his book, “The Anatomy of Female Power”(AFP) and Will Farrel’s, “The Predatory Female. They all push the theory that all societies are matriarchal and not patriarchal as we are pushed and forced to believe. Matriarchy has ruled not through brawn but wits and tricks; women feigning weakness to be protected etc. Thus the male becomes the most exploited sex in human history,(in wars the man is always ready to die for the woman; he has been trained to do that).

Chinweizu calls the idea of dating and courtship, training, like that of a horse. It is during this time that a woman having kept the man on a leash by denying him sex and getting him addicted to her by false charms, trains and breaks him to whatever she wants him to become.

The marriage celebration becomes a celebration for the woman and her friends, and they all congratulate her for having succeeded in getting herself a slave. A man on that wedding day waves goodbye to his independence and his coalition of males and commits himself to a Sisyphean life, rolling the stone, an act he cannot abandon having society and the government checking on him and always ready to jail, shame or exile him for absconding his duties.
Thus the government and society helps the woman in keeping her slave in check.

Chinweizu gives a narration of how women are trained by older matriarchs to tame men. He explains how a man is trained to rely on women by his own mother. A man is shamed for cooking for himself and other domestic chores by his own mother who is an agent of the global matriarchal rule.

By getting the man to hate domestic works and having it enforced by culture which warns men against going into the kitchen, doing laundry etc., the mother trains his son for the woman who will captivate him and when the time comes she takes hold of the man’s stomach and by getting the man addicted to her body she holds him by the two, in bed and in the kitchen. With those two weapons she manipulates the man and turns him into her plaything.

In the “Myth of the Male Power”, Esther Villar’s ” A Man’s Right to the Other Woman”“The Polygamous Sex”, the authors of those books challenge the narrative that men oppress women, and by detailed research across African, Western and Eastern both in ancient and modern societies, the authors unravel the hidden power of the ruthless matriarchal power that rules the world.

Presidents, Emperors and Kings are all puppets of the matriarchy forces that rule the World by pulling the strings from behind the curtains.

Invictus Obi: US court sentence Obinwanne Okeke to 10 years in prison

Nigerian Obinawanne Okeke has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for involvement in a computer-based intrusion fraud scheme that caused approximately $11 million in known losses to his victims.

“Through subterfuge and impersonation, Obinwanne Okeke engaged in a multi-year global business email and computer hacking scheme that caused a staggering $11 million in losses to his victims,” said Raj Parekh, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

“Today’s sentence further demonstrates EDVA’s and FBI’s worldwide reach in vigorously pursuing justice on behalf of American victims and others and holding international cybercriminals accountable, no matter where they commit their crimes.”

According to court documents, Obinwanne Okeke, 33, operated a group of companies known as the Invictus Group based in Nigeria and elsewhere.

From approximately 2015 to 2019, Okeke and others engaged in a conspiracy to conduct various computer-based frauds.

The conspirators obtained and compiled the credentials of hundreds of victims, including victims in the Eastern District of Virginia.

As part of the scheme, Okeke and other conspirators engaged in an email compromise scheme targeting Unatrac Holding Limited, the export sales office for Caterpillar heavy industrial and farm equipment.

In April 2018, a Unatrac executive fell prey to a phishing email that allowed conspirators to capture login credentials.

The conspirators sent fraudulent wire transfer requests and attached fake invoices.
Okeke participated in the effort to victimize Unatrac through fraudulent wire transfers totaling nearly $11 million, which was transferred overseas.

Additionally, Okeke engaged in other forms of cyberfraud, including sending phishing emails to capture email credentials, creating fraudulent web pages, and causing other losses to numerous victims.

“The FBI will not allow cyber criminals free reign in the digital world to prey on U.S. companies,” said Brian Dugan, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Norfolk Field Office.

“This sentencing demonstrates the FBI’s commitment to working with our partners at the Department of Justice and our foreign counterparts to locate cyber criminals across the globe and bring them to the United States to be held accountable.”

Raj Parekh, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Brian Dugan, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Norfolk Field Office, made the announcement after sentencing by Chief U.S. District Judge Rebecca Beach Smith.

Gumi: Herdsmen learnt kidnapping from Niger Delta militants

Ahmad Gumi, a prominent Islamic cleric, says herdsmen learnt kidnapping from Niger Delta militants.

He said if the government hold talks with herdsmen, they will assist in flushing out the criminals among them.

Gumi has been advocating amnesty for bandits.

He said the bandits are themselves victims of cattle rustling who took to crime to defend themselves.

Speaking when he featured on Africa Independent Television (AIT) on Tuesday, Gumi said just about 10 percent of Fulani herdsmen are criminals.

The cleric said the bandits learnt kidnapping from the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), saying if militants could be granted amnesty, then the same should be applicable to the bandits.

He said if the federal government grants them amnesty, the other 90 percent of the herdsmen will reveal the identity of the criminals among them.

“We didn’t take a different route of trying to solve this problem and that is why we are still here today. And when we say amnesty, we don’t mean that anyone proved to be involved in murder should go free as such,” Gumi said.

“They learnt kidnapping from MEND. I do not see any difference. They were the first victims of rustling. Their cattle is their oil. What we are seeing now is more of an insurgency than banditry. I can say 10 percent of the herders are criminals not 90 percent, in the end, they took up weapons to protect themselves from extinction.

“They themselves can take care of the little remnants of criminals among themselves because they don’t want anybody to bring mayhem to them.”

Effiong Akwa, NDDC boss, under our investigation, says CCB Commissioner, Hon. E. J. Agbonayinma

By Ben Ogbemudia

The Code of Conduct Bureau on Monday said that the Bureau can not be intimidated into not doing its constitutional duties as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution, no matter how highly placed the person is.

The Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee investigating the alleged N100 million Naira bribery by the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State , Senator Godswill Akpabio to officials of the CCB to assist Akwa Effiong (Sole Administrator, NDDC) fill and backdate his Assets declaration forms from 2012 till date, Hon. Johnson Agbonayinma said both the Minister for Niger/Delta and Effiong Akwa wrote to the Bureau asking for another day to appear before it.

“Yes, Godswill Akpabio wrote to us that he is a bit indisposed and seeks for an extension of the date of which we have granted; for Effiong Akwa , there was clash of date. The National Assembly Committee on Niger/Delta are currently with him in Port Harcourt for oversight function. He also wrote to us to explain change of date. so, all things being equal, we will get to the root of the matter.”

The Chairman Code of Conduct Bureau, Professor Mohammed Isah had earlier inaugurated an investigation panel where he stated that the exercise is in tandem with President Muhammadu Buhari’s policy on fighting corruption as well as promoting transparency and accountability in the conduct of government business.

The objective of the Assets Verification Committee is to thoroughly scrutinize the completed assets declaration forms of public officers to ensure accuracy.

” If anybody feels we are playing , they should remember Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen’s case with us at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over his Asset declaration infractions which are illegal under Nigeria’s code of conduct law. So, Allegation of Bribery Against CCB Officials for Backdating of Assets Declaration Forms of Akwa Effiong must be investigated seriously.

“On the 5th day of February, 2021, the attention of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) was drawn to the series of tweets on the Twitter handle of one Jackson Ude and an Online newspaper publication by pointblanknews.com to the effect that Mr. Godswill Akpabio (Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Affairs) allegedly paid the sum of N100 million Naira to officials of the CCB to assist Akwa Effiong (Sole Administrator, NDDC) fill and backdate his Assets declaration forms from 2012 till date.

Group urges President Buhari to save Nddc from illegality

A socio-cultural group, Niger Delta Development Initiative (NDDI) has mounted pressure on President Muhammadu Buhari to institute a legally recognized Board and Management ― 16-months after members of the Board were appointed by him and cleared by the Nigeria Senate.

President and Secretary of the group, Chief Ebikalome Tonye Anselm and Comrade Johnson Oghenekevbe in a petition title: “The need to stop the manipulation of the Management of NDDC against the Law” on Friday, also demanded for the sack of Sen. Godswill Akpabio, minister of Niger Delta Affairs, accusing him of hijacking the functions of Commission in violation of the spirit and letters of the enabling Law that set up NDDC ACT 2007.

The Niger Delta Stakeholders who described the development as sickening, accused the Minister of manipulating the Commission from been led by an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to a Sole Administratorship with his political protégé as beneficiary in contravention of Section 2 of the NDDC (Establishment etc) Act of 2007, which defines the functions and composition of membership of the Governing Board of the Commission among the nine oil producing States and the representatives of relevant Ministries.

The group, expressed worry over the setback the absence of NDDC Board has cost Nigeria people who have not enjoyed stability in its operations after a short stay of Ibim Seminatari to Egba/Obong Nsuma Ekere-led Board of NDDC till the ascension of Senator Akpabio as a result of the manipulation of the Commission was meant to serve without a Governing Board.

“Mr. President, we agree that there is a fundamental basis for probing into activities of the Commission, but we are worried that such exercise cannot obliterate the legal foundation upon which the Commission is founded.

“For the avoidance of doubt, your Excellency, we are of the firm view that over the NDDC are nothing short of an assault not only on established legal framework Governing the Management of the Commission, but an assault on the sensibility of the people of Niger Delta and nine member States of the Commission. This has continued despite the cacophony of voices that have risen against the decapitation of the Commission by the Ministry”, the group lamented.

While urging President Muhammadu Buhari not to allow himself to be goaded into sustaining illegalities in one the interventionist agencies in which huge appropriations are been made annually, urged him to shun distractions and “institute a legally recognized Board and Management which he had appointed in August 2019.

It further expressed sadness over the manner in which the Management of NDDC is being “manipulated to the extent that even court orders are now been manufactured to pave way for the lackey of the Minister to assume the sole leadership of the Commission” ― despite the litany of allegations of corrupt practices which have been made by several persons and groups across a broad spectrum against the spirit and letters of the enabling Law that set up the Commission”.

The petition further accuse the Minister of wrongly advising President Muhammadu Buhari against the inauguration whose main objective is to join other compatriots to advance the cause of development of the Niger Delta in particular and Nigeria in general.

It recalled how a Federal High court sitting in Abuja on the 20th day of January 2021, in suit No. FHC/ABJ/617/2020 Between the Incorporated Trustees of Forum for Accountability and Good Governance made a very startling revelation that it never granted any interim injunction to the Pondei-led Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NDDC”, which had been dissolved by the President before its supposed lifespan in December 2020 and thereafter directed the most Senior Director should assume in capacity of a Sole Administrator based on the vacuum that was created in the development as it was widely reported on December 12, 2020, amidst protests and litigations by the various interest groups and Stakeholders in the polity on account of gross and further violation of the NDDC Act.

Obaseki And PDP’s Wicked Plot To Procure A Court Order To Stop APC And It’s Candidate Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu From Participating In The September 19, 2020, Governorship Election In Edo State : A Call For Judicial Caution.

~Samson R. Osagie, Esq

Ahead of the September 19, governorship election in Edo State, the PDP and its emergency candidate Godwin Obaseki have ran out of ideas, as their campaigns loses traction with thousands of their members abandoning their sinking ship.
Perturbed by the reality of imminent and unavoidable defeat, they have gone on their kneels groveling before one of the South South Governors and a PDP godfather who describe the National leadership of their party as tax collectors to assist them procure a frivolous court order that will prevent the APC and its formidable candidate Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu from participating in the September 19 gubernatorial election in Edo State.
As a matter of fact  two Senior Lawyers in Benin one in Edo State public service and the other in private practice have been given matching orders to  liaise with another prominent Senior lawyer in Lagos to urgently seek for  injunctive orders against the APC candidate by all means possible. This step is been backed  by the payment of several millions of dollars and billions of naira by Governor Obaseki to the Lawyers and the PDP godfather in the south south.
As part of measures to achieve this unholy and devilish mission Obaseki having obtain assurance from the PDP’s godfather in Port Harcourt has been junketing from one judicial division to  the other seeking for pliable judges to assist him with an  order based on frivolous and unmeritorious application against the  APC and its candidate. This is why he is not campaigning or funding the PDP campaign, a situation which is alleged to have created a rift between him and his Deputy.
No wonder their media hirelings have been posting what looks like messages intended to prepare the mind of the public as to what they intend to achieve. In one of the Post a certain Jack Obiyan, Special Assistant to Governor Obaseki twitted that the suspended former  State Chairman Anselm  Ojezua as saying ” APC has no candidate”. The PDP godfather during their ill-fated flag off campaign in one of the changing rooms at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium re – echoed same.
Unfortunately, for the embattled party that sold  its governorship and Deputy governorship tickets to Obaseki and his Deputy  for several billions of Edo taxpayers money, many heads of courts across the country have issued stern warnings to judicial officers to refrain from entertaining frivolous politically motivated litigations aimed at derailing the democratic process which has characterized the Obaseki misadventure in Edo State governance since 2016.
Let it be known that Anselm Ojezua and Godwin Obaseki are living in fool’s paradise for assuming that they could put spanner in the works of the Edo APC from regaining its control of government in Edo State come November 12, 2020.
The APC gubernatorial primaries which Anselm Ojezua claims did not produce a candidate was ratified by the National Executive Committee which held in the Presidential Villa and which he virtually attended, albeit erroneously. How he now claim that after the  ratification of the primaries which produced Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the party still has no candidate is a matter Mr President and the National Caretaker Committee of the APC must invoke serious disciplinary measures against by expelling Anselm Ojezua from the party.
It is no longer news that Anselm Ojezua and a few party chairmen at the LGA levels in Edo State are refusing to decamp with Obaseki to PDP with the intention of sabotaging the APC in the next election.
They will fail!!!
It is therefore important to state that Nigerian courts must be wary of the suits which are been filed with the aim of derailing the democratic processes in Edo State so as not to create a constitutional crisis as the tenure of the incumbent governor expires midnight of November 11(my birthday) and Edo people are not prepared to renew the mandate.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the APC has undoubtedly fulfilled all legal requirements including incontrovertible academic qualifications and compliance with every statutory provisions spelt out in the Nigerian Constitution, the APC constitution and the electoral Act under which INEC has issued its guidelines.

Consequently, any order seeking to stop the APC candidate from participating in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Edo State can only be a product of judicial compromise and we are confident that the Nigerian judiciary will not lend itself to such an ignoble mission.

Let us warn the PDP godfather in the south south oil rich state that the APC is fully aware of his boasts to use the judiciary to achieve this unholy mission as he did to APC in Rivers State in 2019.  By God grace and under God no weapon fashioned by him and his God son  Godwin Obaseki shall succeed and Obaseki shall lose shamelessly to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

Needless to emphasize that the people of Edo State have accepted the SIMPLE AGENDA of the APC and its candidate and they are very prepared to run with it to guarantee security, quality infrastructure, Manpower development, public private partnership, leadership by example and employment cum empowerment. This SMART program is Specific, Measurable, Achievable , Realistic and Time bound so much so that Edo people can hold the APC government of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu accountable to it. On the contrary, the Obaseki government has no discernable agenda except bogus and incomprehensible litany of failed promises. Edo People cannot continue with his deceitful and hypocritical administration.
The task to reclaim Edo from the PDP tenant on September 19 is already a forgone conclusion and the Courts must exercise utmost circumspection not to yield to  any unpatriotic, undemocratic, frivolous and vexatious applications relating to Edo elections particularly applications for injunctive reliefs against the APC and its candidate.
Finally, the Chief Justice of Nigeria should prevail on all superior courts of record to excercise utmost discretion and restraints in matters relating to Edo State governorship election before, during and after the  election without prejudice to their powers to entertain post elections petitions.
Edo State is APC, and it’s people have decided to elect Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Mallam Gani Audu as the next Governor and Deputy Governor.
No more, No less.

~~Hon Samson Osagie is a former Minority Whip of the House of Representatives and the Coordinator, APC Campaign Council in charge of Edo South Senatorial District.

Failed Nddc Job, Odubu Demands Money From Senate President

My attention has been drawn to an online publication thenewspanorama of 2nd June, 2020 wherein I was said to have demanded money from His Excellency, The Senate President and criticized the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Comrade Adams Oshiomhole over my appointment as NDDC Board Chairman Designate
I want to state categorically that the said online news is a figment of the imagination of the writers and not scintilla of truth is contained therein. Rather it is and will remain a malicious publication orchestrated by political foes who are bent on painting me in bad light before these eminent National Leaders of our party and government.
For the avoidance of doubt, when I was appointed Chairman designate of the NDDC board along with other members of the board in August 2019 up until we were Screened and confirmed by the Senate and even until now I never met the Senate President nor gave any money to anyone to facilitate our Screening and confirmation.
I have the greatest respect for the Senate President who I have been privilege to serve with in the House of Representatives and cannot do anything that will bring his person and office into disrepute.
In the same vein , I wish to State unequivocally that the National Chairman of APC and my boss Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has my greatest loyalty and regards. I have never and will not have any reason whatsoever to give him any money to facilitate appointment or my confirmation in the Senate. I was his Deputy from 2008 to 2016 and I thank God for the privilege I had to work with him. I will therefore have no reason to disparage him or his person. His role in my appointment as Chairman Designate NDDC was purely based on his belief in my person and his commitment to the development of the Niger Delta.
I must place on record the invaluable position and role of the Deputy Senate President Senate Ovie Omo Agege in the process of appointment, screening and confirmation of the NDDC Board in 2019. At no time did I or any member of the board offered or gave any money to him to facilitate our screening and confirmation.
Let me state that those who are seeking to get appointed into NDDC board should embark on the process with the fear of God and refrain from attempting to pull others down in furtherance of their inordinate ambitions.
All through my years of service I have been driven by the strong desire to contribute maximally to the development of my country and by extension the Niger Delta region. This has been more reinforced by Mr President’s commitment to the change in the narratives of the Niger Delta.
I therefore wish to thank Mr President in whose Presidential Campaign Council in 2019, I was Director of Logistics for considering myself and other members that was appointed by him into NDDC Board in 2019.
I remain a committed and loyal member of the All Progressives Congress and I wish to extend my sincere apologies to the Distinguished Senate President, Distinguished Deputy Senate President and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress for the embarrassment this false publication may have caused them.
In the meantime I have instructed my Solicitors to write to the Publishers of thenewspanorama to retract the said publication and tender unreserved apologies to these leaders and myself for this offensive publication or face Legal consequences.
